COURSE DRAWING AND PAINTING
Association ART TOTAL Settimo Torinese, promotes and arranges for the year 2009/10 a course in drawing and painting addressed both beginners and experienced amateurs.
The course aims to provide the basis for a correct execution of the design drawing from life and from photographic reproduction. Will address the methods of classic design giving careful attention to the speech signico. Will be taken into consideration the different paper types to be used with different weights suitable for graphite and watercolor.
The representation of space and the figure will be the main themes developed through the workshop activities. At the same operating activities will be also proposed an approach to art history depending largely on the understanding of how executive with projected images of works of classic and modern artists. It
a later study of watercolor, its various applications and the study of traditional and experimental techniques of painting (tempera, acrylic and oil.)
The main purpose of the course will consist in providing each student, through the technical and expressive control of the shape and color of freedom interpretations and representations.
At the end of the course will be an exhibition of work performed during the year in an area to be agreed with the local government.
Period: From September 2009 to May 2010
Duration: 64 hours over two hours of lessons per week.
The time slots to be discussed: 17 - 19 or 18 - 20.

Contenuti:
I diversi strumenti impiegati nel disegno: tipi di grafite e carte; il disegno come studio analitico e come interpretazione della realtà; il segno come veicolo di emozioni e come strumento di analisi; le metodologie adottate per una corretta rappresentazione dello spazio: la prospettiva, il traguardo e le sue applicazioni; il riporto delle proporzioni; la linea tonale e il chiaroscuro.
L’acquarello e la gestualità pittorica; segno e texture; La pittura ed il colore come veicolo capace di esprimere l’emozionalità; landscape painting and interpretation of gesture.

graduated in 1976 at the First Art School of Architecture in Turin, he graduated in 1982.
began to show his work in 1980 starred in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Since 1985 he work as an artist than as an architect, designer and lecturer in Art and Image

teacher and facilitator of the course: Prof. Alessandro Fabbris
graduated at the Accademia Albertina delle Belle Arti in Turin plays a teacher since 2005. Active in art in Italy, the protagonist of important chemesse dedicated to visual arts has participated in numerous exhibitions. His works are in public and private collections.
His work explores the potential of painting where color sign, matter and light are the fundamental cornerstones of his research, combined with a careful study of the conceptual matrix.
